I was on my way home and saw few people standing there and I have been rushing all week long , I thought let me stop here and see what's up? Cuz there's a sign says, free books, and other stuff. I went inside to see what more is going on? Then I was stopped and told, there were not open to the public like that , they are a transitional place to help those in transition. They can get furniture and clothing. People make donations to that place. Good thing they are doing. Wish them all the best! Then I got bk in my car and left.

You cannot call because they have no voicemail set up and they do no answer emails. Great way to do business.

Patricia- thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have the manpower to do any donation pickups. If you'd like to drop off donations, kindly call us at 518 599 5157 to set up a appointment. We are currently accepting donations Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 2pm. Because we have been inundated with donations since reopening, we are asking donors to keep the donations to 4-6 bags/boxes. Thanks so much for thinking of Grassroot Givers!
We are located at 1075 New Scotland Rd in Albany at the former elementary school on the Academy of Holy Names campus. Come straight to the back of the campus and enter through the door by the playground. Thanks very much! -Mary and Roberta
Yes, thank you. Our donation hours are M-Th 10am to 2pm. Sincerely, Mary and Roberta
Susan, If you mean Medical textbooks, the answer is 'no'. We don't have a market for those. If they are popular books on medical topics, we can take them, but only is they are very new- a year or two old. Thanks very much, Grassroot Givers
