Donated my 6th unit of blood. I enjoy visiting the American Red Cross Blood donor center over local blood drives, because the staffing is more consistent, the surroundings much more congenial, and the temperature is comfortable. (Most blood drives are in large, drafty rooms, sometimes gyms and in the winter are cold) The entire process, from intake to finishing my juice and cookies, took only an hour. The staff is very helpful and informative. Donating blood is so important to the health care process. You should give it some thought!

I usually think in terms of 8:30 to 4:30, although the door is often open until 5. What did they tell you? Are you talking about Blood Services or about Humanitarian Services?
