The other reviews aren't lying. Sometimes customer service is okay, but usually workers at the counter are pretty miserable. They enforce policies very strictly and aren't forgiving at all when you accidentally ship something slightly overweight (I'm talking a fraction of an ounce) or use the wrong tape or box or something. I've had to wait in very long lines and have seen people park on the grass because the lot was full. I'm glad that the lobby stays open 24/7 so I can drop off my prepaid packages while avoiding the chaos during the day. However, the drop box often gets jammed, and even though I can hear employees shuffling around in the back room, no one comes out to fix it. Also, their mailmen have a habit of losing only my most important mail. Multiple gift cards from family, prescriptions, and even the title to my car have all been lost by these guys. Overall I get the feeling that since this is LWRs only main post office, the employees here are overworked and have since stopped caring about quality.

Not sure why all the bad reviews, I always have nice customer service, they are polite, and as efficient as possible. Sometimes there is a long line but not always and not their fault, as no other convenient post office nearby in LWR. My only complaint is the hours open at 9am and close at 5pm Mon-Fridays means impossible to get there to mail a box if you work, unless can go Sat 9am-12 noon which I very much appreciate that you are open, but unfortunately I forgot to check until 1pm what the hours are on Saturdays so it is closed now. Can you stay open one day a week until 6pm as that would help working people? I don't get all the complaints here, have used them for the last 8 years, no problems, nice people, clean open lobby area, can drop boxes off in the cart and not wait. Not their fault everyone comes at lunchtime or in December for Xmas present mailings which cause long lines at times.

Carrier states items were delivered when they weren't, leaves packages at the WRONG address, and the post office is IMPOSSIBLE to get someone to answer the phone... Seriously poor service on the part of both carrier and LWR post office. You shouldn't have to go in person to talk to someone about a missing package or one that was marked as "delivered in mailbox" when it wasn't!! These are packages/deliveries from Amazon so the tracking verification/remarks are right there on my order. I wish Amazon would STOP using the USPS.

We just received a piece of certified mail (we were waiting for)that has the green signage form detached. The envelope was placed directly in our mailbox. How can the tracking be accurate??? The mail carrier is to lazy to do their job and get out to have us sign. Good job it wasn’t stolen from the mail box. Tried calling the post office but could not get a live person. Who is policing these people?? Things are out in place for a reason. Thankfully I receive the daily informed delivery.

Can you be a little more specific? Are you referring to when your mail is delivered?
No
The Post office no longer handles Passports. Cost was $200.00 and that included not only a passport booklet but also a passport card using expedited service. Go online to pull the form as it is available in a pdf. Follow instructions for renewal...go to Walgreens to get a photo for $3 and mail it with your check and old passport with a return receipt and tracking number via usps. Takes about a month.
Ground was Dec 14 and for priority and first class it's Dec 20.
Monday was Columbus day. Also if you do not have mail the carrier does not stop at your house regardless of the flag being up. The only guaranteed pick ups are the blue boxes.
Go inside and speak to someone to make sure all the correct names are on your PO Box. Mail is delivered by last name and businesses.
Online 1$... in the post office fill out forwording card for free
