I went in person to the Bradenton Post Office located at: 4112 53rd Ave E, Bradenton, FL to fill out a Temporary Change of Address. Lady at the counter told me they did not have any forms and they seldom have them, she added. I then went in person to Post Office at Parrish, FL and filled out the Change-of-Address form and gave it to the front counter Postal clerk on Saturday April 2nd, 2022. I am yet to receive ANY mail to my new “temporary” address in Parrish, FL and today is Friday May 13, 2022. UPDATE!!!! My entire perception of the Bradenton Post Office of SR 70 was immediately changed thanks to their Supervisor Debbie. After I finished posting the above review (which I stand by as it is only factual), I received a phone call from Bradenton Postal Supervisor Debbie who apologized for any delays and assured me that my mail will be forwarded and also provided information on the incoming Post Office so that I may check with them if they are (or were) holding my mail. Kudos to Debbie!

So I was amazed to be informed by the clerk here, that picking up our mail ,is a Courtesy. It is Not required for them to pick up your mail from your mailbox. Which had the flag up for 3 days, and delivered junk mail on top of that. Yes, it had correct postage. So I took my mail to the Post Office, inside myself. Asked what the problem was, and was told, they don't have to pick up my mail, that they do this as a Courtesy. And that was that. No apology or inquiry. So.....👍

Poor customer service. All phone numbers shown either no one answers OR you only deal with an automated robot and not able to transfer to humans. They have been erroneously holding my mail for 2 weeks. I have been trying to correct this without having to visit post office.

Pay your Post Office Box rental fee and you can get your mail Your box will be unlocked once the bill fee is paid. However after the 10th day of the month your mail will be returned to sender. You will have a options to reopen the box untill the 30th of the month, if you pay the Box rental fee and a handling fee which is a late fee of $23 dollars .
Definitely contact the post office on both sides at your new and old addresses. Google responders can't do anything about it. Try usps.com for good advice and phone numbers!
