Hernando County School District : School Bus Transportation

Myy son's bus was early this morning we saw the bus leaving as we walked out the front door. So, I called transportation to let them know && they sent a whole bus just ta pick him up. He's in Kindergarten, therefore this is our first year him riding the bus. Happy Momma && very pleased with Hernando County Transportation.!! Also, the first day the bus was extremely late dropping off, however this week the bus is on tyme.!!!!

2021-2022 sitting 3 hours past time for my child to be let off bus stop it's terrible sitting this long with gas prices are so high and can't turn ac off due to Florida heat , I've called numerous times Im always given the runn around and excuses I'm told start coming later to bus stop,If I miss the pickup Of my child they will hold student on bus and take them back to school,my taxes have increased in my area to help hire bus driver and give Teachers better pay but everything is the same each year.Terrible

I swear I don't even want to give them a 1 star because the Hernando county transportation department is absolutely by far the worst I have ever had to deal with. The women in the office when you call to inquire about a bus issue or concern are the rudest and most inconsiderate people and honestly they couldn't careless about the problem or concern you may have as a parent. In fact when I called to inquire about my daughters bus not picking up on time I was actually told by the lady in the office to get over it and she hung up on me. Hernando county school district is the worst and I am so set back by how rude and disrespectful they are.

Buses are hit or miss with punctuality, lately even being an hour or so late at times. The bus driver we have can definitely be cantankerous but I probably would be too if I had to deal with a bunch of brats constantly. they get to school eventually and in one piece so I guess that deserves an extra star right?
