They never answer the phone but when you go up there it’s a ghost town and everyone is just sitting around talking. One day I drove 40 minutes to go up there after calling literally 15 times when I got to the door it was so empty you could hear a pin drop so I stood at the door and called just to see what would happen and everyone at the front desk just looked at the phone ring and continued talking and laughing.

would give it zero stars , i called no one would answer so i drove there just for them to say they have training but that wasn’t posted anywhere but their hours were until 4:30. Lady at the desk was very rude.

Have never had to wait longer then 5-10 minutes. There have even been times they've gotten me in before my appointment time. Everyone has always been friendly and willing to take time to answer any questions. The Nurses, ARNPs, and Doctors are friendly and knowledgeable as well.

Not at this location
PREMIER Community Health is the provider, sliding scale based on income and no insurance but does accept Medicaid
No. The Health Department does not have a dental clinic. However, Premier Community Healthcare located in the same building does. Visit their website for more info. ")
They don't do Physicals or Check-ups, only STD Testing and Treatment (if needed).... I needed a Physical for new employment, this is what I was told ☹️ Maybe contact Premier Health??? It's inside the FL DOH building, but not affiliated.
I don't know. I went there for a bacteriological analysis of my well water.
No
Private well owners can bring in their samples Tuesday - Thursday to the Environmental Health office, 7551 Forest Oaks Blvd. You need a special bag to collect the water in. Call 352-540-6812 for questions on cost and to get a sterilized sample collecting bag. Or visit the Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection to get a list of Certified Private Laboratories.
No rapid tests. Only PCR. Test results are usually available in 2 days.
Check the hospitals. Right now only Floridians over age 65 and health care workers with direct patient contact can receive the vaccine at the health department. Visit Governor DeSantis' website for more information on when more people in the general public will be included.
Drive thru testing. You don't get out of your car and you need an appointment.
Appointments only
Currently this health department only has the Moderna vaccine, so you will be unable to receive a 2nd shot at the health dept. because you can't mix manufacturers.
