The garden and folk village are free and worthwhile. Make a donation if you can

Went there to pick up my Annual Parking Pass for Ft. De Soto/Sand Key/Fred Howard. I think it was like $35. with the Veteran's discount (normally $60.) but don't quote me on those numbers. I have since gotten my money's worth, I believe. Ironically, I live about 10 minutes from Clearwater Beach but I have no interest in going there at all. Too crowded, too "touristy" and very expensive. I instead go to Sand Key Park, which is MUCH nicer and is located close enough.

I came here to visit the botanical garden but couldnt help but notice that a majority of the ladies who work at the Pinellas County Extension are ridiculously attractive. It's insane!

They give free helpful advice about local flora and fauna and how to grow them in your own back yard!

Visit the Extension during the week. They should have soil collection bags that you can mail to the University of Florida for testing. You can also talk with one of the helpful folks at the front desk.
One part dish soap ten parts tap water, spray on plant. This won't harm the plant. Also you can take Pam vegetable spray, lightly spray the plant it will also give it a shinny look. Pam also works in bromiliads to stop the breeding of mosquito. Good luck .!
You can start then directly in the garden. They do well here year round basically. If it freezes they may need covered. Usually we do not have that problem here but it has occurred. Most varieties do well. Happy gardening!
No
I think you can. I would put them in a sealed container to avoid contamination

All diagnostics through the Extension are free. In a case like this , multiple photos and a sample of your grass brought to our help desk to be evaluated by.our Master Gardeners is the best bet. There is no charge for.our services. Thanks so much!
You might use Dawn liquid soap. Try a small area to see if it's harming the palm first.I have used it on aunts and roaches, works well . Or if in a spray bottle, one quart , combine 3/4 water with 1 tblspn hot sauce and 1tblspn liquid dish soap.
My recommendation to you is to water soil before installing sod to give roots something to reach out for.. Then after installation wait until root system is formed. Approximately 45 to 60 days and then fertilize.

Takes patience to pull and dig the bulb. These are invasive plants. As soon as there are babies pull them out. Thats what I always do. Pull and put in the garbage. Any bulbs that are not disposed might grow again.
I would want them or at least one or two
