Small plaza but have the right places to enjoy
The Grays
What can I say about Gower Gulch?! It's the center of Hollywood, right smack in the middle of everything. Convenient location to go do some shopping as the plaza is filled with all types of fun little shops where you can find all kinds of fun goodies. Additionally there's a RiteAid Pharmacy store for your medicinal needs or perhaps even a bottle of good vine, as well as other various spirits can be conveniently obtained there for a fun filled evening with your friends or loved ones. Gower Gulch plaza also has Starbucks Coffee shop by the far East car entrance. If you require something more substantial than coffee, there's Denny's Diner conveniently sitting right by the legendary Sunset Boulevard, definitely a spot to grab a bite of good food and do a bit of people watching, if that's what you are into. Like I've mentioned before, it's Hollywood central and there are all types of fun places all around including several clubs, bars, other types of food joints. Several blocks south of plaza is Santa Monica Blvd. also know as Historic Route 66 or several blocks north and you are on world famous Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame. Take your pick, whichever direction you choose, you are bound to find a grand ol' adventure... Hollywood Style! 😃✌️ P.S. Saw several reviews by others and felt like adding important note. Some mentioned the homeless in the area, yes they are among us, but do not be discouraged or FEAR THEM! These poor souls are NO THREAT TO YOU! Hollywood been my home for 32 years and seen them, communicated with them and even know a few. These poor souls are struggling day to day with survival, i.e. getting some food, safe, dry and warm place to rest. They are Homeless, not criminals! Your chances of being in a predicament is much higher by some random criminal in the area seeking opportunity and finding you by yourself in some obscure locale looking for way out. I've NEVER had a problem with these folks nor any of my friends and family. Just like ANY big metropolises, Los Angeles has a homeless population and yes we do have a lot more than anywhere else, but HOMELESS AREN'T THREAT TO YOU! Trust, I know every street and corner in Hollywood and I know what I'm talking about. Just like any city there is always a chance of some crime taking place, therefore be smart and prepared. Don't go walking around late at night by yourself, always have a plan, knowing where you going and how you gonna get there. If possible, bring a buddy with you. Don't concentrate on the negative, Hollywood is a big, beautiful, multicultural thriving community with people from ALL walks of life. We have large Latin X presence, Russian, Armenian, black, white, etc., you name it?! As well as a large LGBTQ+ community. We LOVE and ACCEPT EVERYONE. So do not worry! Go out there explore and enjoy Hollywood for all it's splendor, history and magic. Have fun and Best of Wishes! ❤️✌️

Place is OK. Pleasant and Nice. Could use a nice cleaning. The homeless drunk transients walking in the parking lot. Asking people for money. Dosen't help much.

Same as most places in Los Angeles: wear a mask and social distancing. Denny's is all outside dining (in area outside entrance and occupying some of parking in front of Rite Aide). Starbucks and Lucifer Pizza are take out only.
