I have mixed feelings with the ER. I arrived at 4pm with a possible blood clot after having back surgery and did not get into a room until after Midnight. Yes I did have a blood clot. The Dr's and nurses were very nice, but it was extremely hard sitting in the chairs for 8 hours after having my back surgery only 5 days earlier. I thought a possible blood clot would warrant a quicker examination time.

One of the best nursing staffs anywhere. In 2018 it wasn't a Dr that saved my life--- it was a nurse! So, I would say you are in good hands at Memorial. Unfortunately, most of the doctors and surgeons are some of the worst I've ever dealt with. Therefore in all good conscience, I could NEVER recommend your hospital.

Urgent care was faster than the hospital. Wait time in patient room was a little bit long of a wait to see a someone, but the nurse practitioner did a good job. Helped me with my issues. I am grateful. The only reason why 3 stars was the bathroom wasn't very clean they seemed low on supplies such as gloves in the room, toilet paper and paper towels in the bathroom and soap. Whoever runs this place should be keeping them well stocked on supplies. This is due to bad management or owners of this facility.

I thought everyone who treated me was very good and very professional and very reassuring as I was very nervous going in to my surgery. The day nurse I had was amazing she was so kind and helpful and did not hesitate to help me get what I needed at any time. My evening nurse was not as helpful she was still professional but she said things like I don’t know if we have that when I asked for another warm blanket and I asked for a snack I think or something and she said she didn’t think that they had one. I just got the feeling from her she wasn’t willing to Do the extra mile for the patient.

Ring or call for a nurse
If you are walking into the hospital, you will need to express your questions to the hospital Dignity Security guards at the front desk. They may give you a phone number you can call. You would press 0 for the operator. Then ask your operator for transfer to the discharge office. Because of covid outbreaks at the hospital, many offices are closed to public entrance. But answers can be satisfied through phone contacts.
You could try speaking to the person and acknowledge how you feel, maybe they aren't aware of how they were behaving.
Hello, Proof of vaccine is not required, however if you're a visitor, regardless of vaccine status you must mask throughout the hospital. If you're coming in for treatment and you show symptoms you may be asked to take a test without proof of vaccine. We understand that each case is different, and we encourage you to reach out if you have a specific question on showing proof of vaccine: (661) 327-4647. Thank you -GU
