Avoid at all costs. My grandma was transported here from a local hospital after a hip fracture. Her stay lasted only 12 hours before we were able to get her to another facility. They not only didn't have the medications she needed, they didn't have the sequential compression device she needed to prevent a DVT. This was the 2nd time she was brought here in 4 years and the first time was not a great experience either. I would 10/10 recommend Bakersfield Rehabilitation Hospital as encompass has gone downhill. There they put the patients needs first & its a state of the art facility.

Everything is good I like the places they been taking care of my dad really good the only thing I don’t like is the receptionist she rude .Besides that the place is great

I honestly don't work there no more. Maybe call them ??
You should bring loose easy to take on/off clothes that you feel comfortable working out in or at least give you free movement. Like pajamas, sweat pants, T-shirts, at least one sweater, and a pair of gym shoes. There is no laundry service, so you need to ask family/friends to come by to collect and deliver laundry. You shouldn't have to label your clothes.

Call Encompass Healthcare. It is a rehabilitation hospital for persons who need to recover from stroke and/or other reasons for needing occupational and physical therapy. It is not a drug rehabilitation tacility.

Yes family members can stay with you over night if you have a private room they will give your family members a reclining chair that turns into a very comfortable bed and you can also eat the food there also!
No it's a rehab for major surgery patients
I'm getting better every day thank u!! I miss u all and the good food! My favorite was your meatloaf and mashed potatoes!! Yum!!
