My mother was admitted for wound grafts on both her legs. The doctor is excellent and everyone very caring. Thank you for the care you gave my mother.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Good Samaritan Hospital and my needs have always been addressed. I disagree with the review written by Dirty Deeds. It was likely written by a former disgruntled employee. No one should have right to mislead public. Therefore, I want to let the public know the truth. Yes, the hospital is old and the former owners, whom I knew, did little to nothing to upgrade it. However, the present owners are working slowly but diligently to upgrade the hospital. Dr. Brar, one of the principal owners, has been my family doctor for 15+ years. He is attentive, caring and compassionate. Dr. Kapadia, a new surgeon brought on staff, is extremely knowledgeable and talented. He is concerned, compassionate and an amazing addition to the staff. When Dr. Kapadia came on staff, I had an open wound; you could see the hardware in the opened wound; and I was not ambulatory. I had been advised to amputate! Dr. Brar and Dr. Kapadia put together a plan to save my leg. Three months later my open wound has healed and I can walk again! What an incredible team! I am so grateful to both of them. Both of these doctors always answer my questions and address my needs. I couldn’t ask for a better medical team. I must preface my comments with the fact that when I have a need or a want, I know how to politely ask rather than demanding or screaming at the staff as I have witnessed many other patients doing. Just like all of us, the staff has their hands full taking care of numerous patients, issues and trying to keep up with charting. Even though I am ill, when I go to the hospital, I try to treat the staff as I would want to be treated. The radiology department has always been very efficient, caring and compassionate as well. In addition, I have been to the Olive Drive urgent care many times, which is one of the best urgent cares in town. In summary, I get far better treatment with compassion and concern than I have gotten at the larger hospitals in town. If I have to go to the hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital on Olive Drive is my choice for care and treatment.

I personally disagree with "Dirty Deed" review. He seems like a disgruntled former employee. According to my personal experience this hospital deserve more appreciation and respect. Good Sam Hospital helped my brother to detox from Alcohol and also saved my mother life from COVID. I am really thankful to this hospital management for the proper care and treatment they provided to my mother and brother in the past. Dr. Kapadia, operated on my mother last month. He is very nice and polite doctor. Dr. Brar does not even practice here. This hospital kept the doors open all the time to help the Oildale community. I also appreciate whole staff for the care they provide to their patients. This hospital complication and infection rate is close to 0. Nothing is perfect but this hospital is way better than most hospitals. I will say do not spread false rumors and mislead the people. Public platforms are meant to share true information so that people can get true picture and can get better care.

Yes
I've heard they do but im not sure.
Go to the urgent Care on Olive it's literally right next to Good Samaritan they work with them tell them and show them and if they want to admit you I would do it I've been there several times due to crowns and other issues and they are so good at what they do the nurses are amazing you will be in great hands
I heard them talking to someone and they told him only his cell phone and charger.
Kmc is Bakersfield's main hospital the good Samaritan is just a privet ownd er
He needs to wash his hands more, and keep his dirty little bacteria-infested hands out of all human orifices, his included. Otherwise that’s just a new Covid mutation waiting to happen.
Yes
Good Samaritan does not have an urgent care, however there is priority urgent care that is in front of Good Samaritan Hospital.
