Be careful of the extra charges they give, which are very vague. Especially FPO! It's a lot like they charge you $6 per gallon to fill up the car when you return the car. Even I return fuel full 8/8 out 8/8 in still being charged $ 126.79 No response to complaint, future car rental company I would never consider

This hertz location has the absolute worst customer service of any rental car location i have ever been too. Poor attitudes and zero customer service skills. Back talk and disrespectful mumbling to the customers

Set my alarm for 2 AM to return my car in time to be at airport 1 1/2 hours before flight boarding at 4:40 am. Pulled up to Hertz return at 3 am. Gate closed, does not open until 4 am. No way to return car or get shuttle to terminal. Renting from Hertz for 25 + years and this has never happened. Always been a way to return a car 24/7. Really dissatisfied. Additional info - they gave me the wrong contract and now are not returning calls to fix the issue. Terrible customer service here.

Can I give negative stars? Less than zero communication, no way possible to get the desk number without physically going into the location, what’s the point of having local agents. Their drop off closes earlier than all other companies in the building, note that. Had an emergency, had to drop off a car overnight, there is no way to do that it is not possible. Even left a note with the keys behind their desk to inform them. They did nothing with it, I had to drive two hours back here to return the car myself the next day because it is impossible to get a hold of anyone but corporate and corporate will not connect you to the local office. Also the ladies have a bit of an attitude, they need to remember their jobs, and that they are front facing customer service representatives and that is all. I’d rather deal with the DMV than these clowns. I travel for business and rent nearly weekly, this has been the most absolute disgusting interaction I’ve had in the rental car business in my entire life from start to finish. Because hertz is also affiliated, I will no longer be renting from them as it was their customer service agents that lack empathy and the ability to talk to someone without being condescending.

To return your vehicle they are open at 4am. The counter does not open till 630am
They do have options allowing you to walk directly to a specific vehicle you have in advanced chosen and gotten confirmation. You need to be part of the hertz gold plus reward program free to sign up.

When you arrive at baggage claim proceed outside to the area for "Rental Car's" the shuttle will take you to the rental car area for all providers, including Hertz, National, Enterprise, etc.
Some vehicles may be permitted, but the three I had were placarded with stickers saying not to drive into Mexico.
Go to the airport to rent a car after business hours
From the outlet I used at Ontario Airport, they did indeed answer the phone. However, you should get an email confirmation within 24 hours or your reservation.
