Upon checking in the hotel looks nice as well as the rooms. However when it was time for bed, as soon as I laid down I dipped so low into the mattress. I’m not sure if the mattresses are old or what, but that definitely made my stay miserable. They also pride themselves on cleanliness but I had stains on my sheets (thankful that I bring my own sheets) also the bathroom floor is nasty and there is hair it the corners of the floornear the tub and on the towels. If it wasn’t for this hospital being convenient for visits to the nearby hospital I would not even finish my stay here.

Manager Van addressed a concern we had on our first visit. He made things better for us. So, we decided to try again. We have been here three days and our stay has been most pleasant. During a time when life isn't comfortable Van took the time to make it comfortable. Thank you for all you do Van and Holiday Inn Cleveland Clinic ❤️

Downgraded from a king deluxe room to two queens upon arrival, was told the room I paid for was not available. Coffee $3.25 for coffee from a Luke warm community coffee dispenser. No free water. No free breakfast. Staff was extremely rude and parking is a pretty good walk away. For the price this hotel was a lot worse than a sub $100 hotel. No amenities whatsoever. Only 2 towels, 2 wash rags, 2 hand towels in the room. Stay away from this place.

I rather liked this hotel. We were staying over ahead of an early admission to the hospital the next morning and the hotel was comfortable and had plenty to watch on tv. The purchased ahead breakfast worked well for us and is something I would use again. The purchase gets you a set amount to use when "buying" food at the cafe in the hotel. It worked nicely. The building was in good working order and the room and bathroom were clean and neat. We appreciated the easy check in process. The valet parking was good, they worked quickly at getting us our car when we needed to leave. I would have liked better directions to the "park yourself" lot or garage, but since that wasn't available, the valet parking was fine. The cost wasn't too high either. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Rooms stayed a decent temperature for the most part though it tended to cycle up and down with the middle being what we considered the "sweet spot" for comfort. I would stay here again.

Yes the do and they start about 6 am and run through early evening. Should be a shuttle about every 15 min.
About half hour depending on traffic
This hotel is about 700 miles from the Mayo Clinic (which is in Rochester, MN). It is 3 blocks from the Cleveland Clinic main building.
Unsure, but excellent question. That may depend upon whether or not the 18 year old had a family member as an overnight patient at Cleveland Clinic. If so, there are patient advocates & social workers who can help with arrangements. I applaud the staff at the hotel AND social workers at Cleveland Clinic. The patient's wellbeing is their primary concern. Sometimes that means having family members near for care and recovery. I am truly sorry that I do not know the specific answer to this question. They most certainly helped out with my particular situation.
Yes
I would google "how far is Cleveland from Canada". Also, where in Canada?
No
