Good food bank they help with many things

The lady there is very rude and she said she does not speak or understand English. I felt very discriminated. She gave me attitudes on about prices and hygiene products. She hides all the good decent clothes from the less fortunate. For example, I see the donations that are given in by people is from people who really care about the community because the way the clothes are kept up.The long lasting materials and products are being stolen by the lady and her friends before the store is open because I watch numerous of times how the shelves are mostly empty It's not fair because I am a single parent with five children and a scholar who relies on the help from Grace. Grace please help to stop and cancel her position. We all need to get together and help stop this awful behavior. Grace please put things in order.

You could also conduct a food drive, diaper drive or hygiene drive where you collect items and bring them to us and we distribute them to people in need. You should try to have somebody with you when you go. Every time I've been there I've been very comfortable, good friendly and caring staff, but you might me going during times I don't.

For your first time receiving groceries you do not need to attend orientation. You just need to be on time and bring an ID. In order to get groceries a second time you will need to attend orientation as required by the LA Food Bank. Orientation is every Wednesday 1:00pm at the Resource Center.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to help with IDs for some time. The only place we know to have the reduced fee vouchers is the DPSS office.
Unfortunately, we are still unable to accept clothing right now. Due to COVID19 we are unable to do our annual Graceful Christmas event so we are turning out clothing area into a “Santa’s Workshop” for parents to come pick out toys for heir children. For your second time you’ll probably need birth certificates or social security cards for kids. Valley Oasis has been helping people find housing, I would recommend trying them for assistance finding housing.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept mattresses. Two things we are unable to distribute are used mattresses and car seats. It’s against the law.
