I used to work at this dealership a few years ago. It's taken me 5 years to write because I was so traumatized by them. After spending 15 years in the dealership industry, I applied for Hunter Dodge and was extremely excited when I got hired on. Only to find out how MISMANAGED and UNDER-EMPLOYED the service department was. I'll tell you right now that if Leilani Chacon is still managing the service department, stay far away because all she is worried about is screwing the sakes manager Gus. The 2 years I worked there it was not unusual for customers to have a 3 month wait for an appointment to service vehicles. To add to the dilemma we were constantly losing staff members, mainly because Leilani was playing favorites or firing staff that had found out about her ongoing affair with Gus. I was ultimately was forced out of my position for that exact reason, however she was able to point the finger at white tape stuff. It's taken me 5 years to write this review only because I was afraid of the retaliation.

I want to thank all staff who helped me with my new car. Davieon got me approved and really made the process smooth. George got me in the same day I got approved! I am very happy with the service they provided. If you need a new car or want to trade your old one in come see them!!! Definitely 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having enjoyed my 1st car being a 1997 TJ wrangler I opted to purchase again when it came time to get a more family friendly vehicle. I purchased a 2012 Overland Summit Grand Cherokee with Saddle interior. It is an ok car, the electrical system has failed twice. resulting in a tow both times with about 3 weeks of downtime trying to schedule the repairs both times. While the transmission is still holding in it has made large clunking sounds when engaging into gear about 3 months after purchase and seems like it is designed to fail after 100k miles. The interior has been my biggest letdown. I purchased a high trim model specifically for the interior. The color is rubbing off the tan leather in the high wear locations but the glue holding the dash in place has completely released and the leather dash has now become a loose piece of leather laying there. I spoke with Hunter Dodge Service who said this was a known issue and said extended warranty X81 would cover this repair. After scheduling a replacement (1 year out) I patently waited for the repair. When the year came up they said the parts were delayed and that is was still several months out, I again patiently waited. At this point the dealer said that the issue was now a cooperate issue where they told me that the term (which I was in during the initial warranty) had expired and they will no longer support this. The cheap plastic base model would have lasted longer than the higher trim and I am super frustrated with how Chrysler handled the repairs. After spending 10k for a know warranty issue that I wound up paying for I had still not given up on Jeep or Hunter Dodge. I decided to purchase a 3rd Jeep vehicle and my second Wrangler because my first experience was so fantastic. I spoke with Hunter Dodge today and they showed no remorse for my recent poor service experience with them and would not negotiate a new vehicle. I personally hate the dealership model but if they have it they better use it. While I would have easily paid full asking price if I could buy online if I am going to negotiate there must be discussion. They said all dealerships are marking up new vehicle builds and It would be difficult for me to find a better deal. I walked away from the conversation knowing they had lost my business and the first dealer I called easily knocked 2k off the same asking price and I would up getting a much better deal than that. I look forward to supporting new companies such as Tesla for challenging the industry norms that many companies have fallen into with age producing cheap products and only looking at the bottom line. I am glad the dealership model is being upset and I hope to never deal with a dealership again.

Ordered a 2022 Ram 3500 from HW Hunter. Negotiation on price and ordering process was was quick and easy. They honored my FCA affiliate pricing and did not try to mark up the price, unlike many other dealers these days. Throughout the 6 month wait Angela gave me status updates. Took delivery yesterday and was in and out in under an hour. While I plan to keep this truck for a while, I will definitely go back there if I needed another truck and would have no problem referring a friend that needed a truck. Thanks again, Angela.

You are not required to get your oil changed at the Dealership. You should, however, keep your maintenance receipts from wherever you do decide to take it just in case proof of maintenance is requested.
