Staff was very informative and helpful! They helped me and my husband get everything we needed to take a pet snake home and properly care for it.

We are in Lawrence since last couple of years but it was only yesterday that we came to know about Pet world. This place is simply amazing. So many reptiles birds fishes under the same roof. The staffs are super friendly. The tortoise dug out is so amazing. We took our dog too and she had an amazing time also.

Loved this place. We are from Omaha & made a stop in with my family from Eudora. Unfortunately, Omaha does not have a pet store that's anything like this store. My daughter loved feeding the giant tortoises and the monster fish. She thought that was just amazing! My cousin actually bought a ball python and necessities while we there. The 2 employees that were assisting her were very knowledgeable about all the reptiles and made everyone very comfortable with purchasing the snake. Pretty cool place! We will definitely be back when were in town & recommend to everyone.

Pet world is hands down the best pet store to go to! I’ve been shopping here for years and will continue to support them. The staff are extremely friendly and ready to help with any question you have. The store is filled with pet food, supplies, and adorable creatures. There is something for everyone here!

I'm not sure if they sell sugar gliders, but they may be able to order them in for you. They put people on waiting lists, look through their files and do their best to help customers when they can. If one of their vendors/breeders has sugar gliders, they will help.
No Handling the animals, Mask are required.
Yes They Do I Remember seeing I good Variety of them on my last visit also they tend to have some of the fancy species as well.
Not sure, but definitely worth it to call them.
Ashley roimg exrise pens please cancel cages
Yes ive seen them here before.
I don't know the exact cost. I do know that having been in the pet store industry myself; that all of their prices are reasonable and within the average range of pet stores. I love their customer service. The animals are all very well taken care of.
That's a pretty specific question. Call and ask, they're super friendly!
They're not there 100% of the time, but yes
They don't.
They have a wide range of cricket sizes and I'm sure they would sort out the very smallest for you. I would recommend going during the day on a weekday if you can though, they can get very busy. They also sell flightless fruitfly cultures.
You might want to call first.
Not sure what your asking for
Contact the nature center at Mary's Lake. I forget the name of the nature center. They bring their animals out for groups of kids in a very educational setting. I would start there.
They currently have a no petting policy due to covid they might have them I love birds but am no expert they do have mccaws at times not sure if they're for sale african greys aren't an interactive bird as fair warning mccaws are both are very intelligent also mccaws are loud when they screech just a heads up both also get fairly large if getting one please don't make it a spur of the moment choice and do your research your feathered friend will thank you also make sure you feed a varied diet within what it normally eats they eat some human foods too just take out the seeds from safe fruits and vegetables as there's a heavy metal in the seed that's toxic
They have birds I don't know what kinds.
Currently none available but they do have adorable Degus there. They are precious.
I'm not sure. I was in there 3 times in the last 2 weeks, and the first time they had 2 Dutch rabbits, but they were not there when I was this last Sunday, and I'm not sure when they get in new stock. No lop rabbits when I was there last. They are pretty popping busy. I've had my best times to call in the morning and in the early afternoon. Sorry I couldn't answer your question, but I hope this information helps.
The staff speaks with each person, asking questions and making sure the person is comfortable with the responsibility of their pet. They do a great job!
We're a rehoming center with a wide variety of live animals but the only way to answer this accurately is if you call directly. Gecko selection changes daily, sometimes hourly, starting at maybe $30 up to $300, depending on which kind of gecko. Please call 7858417476 for current availability!
Yes
The only enclosures that I have seen in there are the exo-terra enclosures, no wooden ones
We take our puppy in with us to ensure that toys are the right sizes. They have treat bowls out for pets that are brought in.
I'm not sure about here... but amazon has some pretty good deals
The Green Iguana is a standard in the trade if they are not doing an order for awhile go to Manhattan and visit Reptile World.
That totally depends. Pet World is a pet store but it's also the exotic animal shelter for Lawrence. Rescued and rehoming animals are kept in the general population with animals who are specialty bred or field collected. You might see a $500 ball python that was bred and raised at Pet World right next to a $50 python that was rescued and is being rehomed. Pet World has been responsibly sourcing and expertly rehoming animals since 1988. It's a popular, busy place so availability changes daily.
They do but I don't know the price
They probably have been extremely busy thats how it is on Sundays
Hedgehogs are an animal that at best tolerate being held; none truly like it, regardless of where they're purchased.
Yes they have a nice variety of fresh water. Saltwater is decent.
Please clarify - coaches? Do you mean roaches?
We are open 10am-4pm on Christmas Eve.
About $150
yes! adults and babies
Sometimes they get like one in just give them a call when they open its the best pet store i have ever been to , so much interaction and friendliness
Yes,but I don't remember price
They had sugar gliders about a month ago. But they usually go pretty quick. No idea if they were intact or not. Sorry
Yes, they have a variety of tarantulas. You need to contact the store directly for details.
They usually do, sometimes they are sold out.
e
They range in price from around $40-$300, but they have ones that are $600 to over $1,000.
They sell goldfish 3.99-5.99 depending on size
Nope. Can't be that expensive though.
I'm sure they do...you could call first...but you would enjoy the trip there to see all the critters they have
Not sure of the price but they usually have a couple styles of tortoise babies.
I think, pet world would have love birds if they have a good supplier. I have seen love birds in the store. I am not sure if there are any currently for sale.
Prices could vary. Try calling.
I have never seen one while in store but if you go in and ask about it and you are prepared to buy it chances are they could order one for you.
