Hi! Pet World is the local exotic animal shelter and Lawrence Humane Society is the dog and cat shelter. During the summer, when the tortoises are at their nature preserve, PW lets LHS use their enclosure for kitten and puppy adoptions. So May-September you can usually find kittens at both PW and LHS.
