Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que is a KC BBQ staple. It’s a must try for those from out of town, and highly cherished by those that are Kansas City residents. I highly recommend the Rocket Pig, the Z-Man, the Onion Rings, Fries, and their potato salad. This is a top contender for the best Kansas City BBQ and the constant battle for best in KC makes Joe’s better each time you eat here. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here. Expect to wit in line for a bit, but I promise it moves quickly and is worth the wait, even when the line is out of the door. Try the Rocket Pig with some Night of the Living sauce for an extra spicy kick!

First time in the KC area and had to try some BBQ! We got there around 5:30PM and the line was out the door. It moved fast though and we ordered within 20 minutes. Plenty of tables available to sit. And the food was amazing! We split burnt ends and ribs, plus fries and a cup of Mac and cheese. Perfect for two people! Plus drinks and desserts. Reasonably priced and delicious! Would love to come back to KC for more burnt ends!

Well priced and casual Kansas City BBQ. It's not a traditional restaurant as you order the counter and then pick up the food and sit down. Lots of families and young people so the attractive pricing brought in a good crowd the pulled pork barbecue sandwich was very good especially if you like barbecued meat. We also try the onion rings and french fries which were very large and tasty.

Fantastic BBQ, lots of flavor. We had the brisket, ribs, red beans and rice, baked beans, and the coleslaw. All except the coleslaw was amaaaaaazing. Interior feels like a chain bbq restaurant unfortunately but the decor is nice. Staff was kind but only took order and delivered to a pickup window. They do take away your dirty plates for you. Again, some of the best bbq in KC.
