Room was very clean and fully functional. Relaxed atmosphere, nice area for walking the dog. Location was good, although the train that went by around midnight woke me up but it wasn't a major bother. Otherwise, I felt safe walking the dog well after dark. I would return without hesitation. good price as well.

Best place to stay in the rifle area, not too far from I-70. Very friendly staff, very clean rooms, rooms are remodeled with a nice wall mounted tv, outdoor fire pit, highly recommend getting a kitchenette room. Not too far from the vail ski area or iron mountain hot springs. Great trails for riding close by and good food.

Great stay at Western Star! When I was stuck with I70 closed and I had no idea when I might get there they were ready to make provisions for a potential very late arrival. VERY kind folks. Clean, quiet, reasonable and excellent healthy snacks for breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again!

This is absolutely my favorite motel on the I70!! Out of the way, super safe and quiet!! This is a rare gem, I promise you won’t be disappointed!! Extremely affordable and you can eat off the floors it’s so clean!! Pull in front of your door and wake up facing the mountains. I just reserved 2 more nights today because I want to stay on our way home from Nevada. The staff is super accommodating and tell you everything you need to know about the property and times the office is open. I won’t be staying anywhere else when we travel this way.
