The place was clean and well managed. The location is very convenient. Some of the furniture needs upgrading, as it shows signs of tear. The fridge, stove top and food storage area in the kitchenette were a bit too small for my needs, but it was nice to be able to do some cooking. The view is pretty cool, but it comes with a busy highway and the accompanying noise, and I kept wishing that I could take the cars out of the view. Overall, I was expecting a bit more for the amount of money that we spent, but, on a limited budget, it seems that in Jackson Hole one has to trade this expectation for the amazing outside adventures. I did not resent the trade, as we did have a great time visiting the parks.

We visited a couple months ago. The room was a nice surprise. It is so large, super clean and even stocked with complimentary refreshments. It was very convenient to park right outside our door. We encountered a small problem with our room and the owner immediately made it right. I strongly recommend this inn.

Absolutely loved this place! Could not say enough good things, even if I wanted to, but ill name a couple. The location is absolutely gorgeous. Directly across the street from the elk refuge, hence the name, so wildlife frequents the area. And the views are stunning. Only a 5min or less drive to downtown Jackson. And 25mins or so from Teton entrance so its a pretty ideal location. We stayed on the 2nd floor, each has their own balcony looking over the refuge, vaulted ceilings in the rooms, and parking in the back directly in front of your door, so you don't have to walk up a flight of stairs. Very convenient. The room was spotless, the cleaning crew does a phenomenal job. Rooms are large size, plenty of space, and everything you need in the small kitchenette. Lastly, the staff were all incredible. From the maintenance guys, cleaning crew, to the receptionists, everyone was so accommodating and helpful. We will most definitely stay here again when we come back to the area.

Great customer service, very organized and clean room. Rooms are equipped with microwave and stove. There is also a coffee machine and a basket of complimentary treats. Honestly, I was so impressed and satisfied with the whole experience! I would recommend and come back to Elk Refuge Inn every time I come to Jackson!
