Very secluded and peaceful here, yet, you're right by the park entrance and the dunes and Zapata Falls - makes a weekend of park activities easy. The weather is changing constantly, so it's interesting to sit out on the back porch and enjoy while grilling or whatever. Hummingbirds are constantly at each back porch ~ so cute! Breakfast offers a lot of easy choices. Today we had brkfst burritos, grits, waffles, cereal, coffee, & juice. The Oasis store & restaurant are just down the hill and there is an 87 gas pump there.

After fun at the dunes we were covered in sand and hungry. So nice to come back to our room and shower and heat up dinner. Very kind staff and wonderful location!

Stayed in one of the updated cabins and had a wonderful time. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Great gift shop and mini-mart with all the essentials. We rented sandboards and had a blast sledding. Minutes away from the dunes. We'll be back!

The exterior looks quite rustic, but the interiors are very well kept. Everything was clean and fresh. A very nice place to stay with incredible views (so long as it isn't too windy and hazy).
