We decided to do some night fishing a few nights ago. This was our epic view and we caught 2 catfish in the 5 pound range. I'm gonna look into the cost of those cabins up there =)

The park is beautifully maintained. Plenty of camping spots whether you want a camper or a tent. Nice trails and great fishing areas. Enjoyed looking at the penned in Buffalo.

Amazing piece of property. Great trail system with lots of varying terrain. Camp facilities are top notch. Plenty of canoeing and kayaking opportunities. Nice disc golf course. Absolutely worth camping at and spending a few days.

Unless it was previously reserved, and they weren't aware that you were staying for longer than 7 days, could always be a possibility. I'm sure it was a mistake on their part, but I hope you enjoyed the park enough that you won't let that stop you from coming back. I know I can't wait to take my family camping down there.
I'm not sure, but you can call the Blackhawk County Conservation board
I would hope so, but don't know for sure.
I would imagine so, yes. The campground has been open since around the middle of April.
I think it is six but not positive
Technically speaking, you can as long as you are from Iowa.
