The trail is about 6 miles long and a one way trail. There is a car park down in Cascade, only a short walk passing by a private property fence. The trail is stony but good to walk if you have hiking shoes on, or walking sticks. The views from some points are great. I went with my two dogs and had no problems walking up with them off leash, because no other person was hiking that day and my dogs never leave the trail.

Not an easy path as it goes up at a steep incline as you start. As out-of-towners who live at sea-level, this was challenging but a nice hike. Great views of the city as you get up. If you don't want to go there whole way, you can walk up to the big rocks about 45 min up and get views while you relax before going back down. No parking at trailhead or on street; we parked at the little park down from it and walked up. Cute little steam nearby but on private property. We only saw one person on the hike; quiet the whole way except for highway nearby. Enjoy!

Parking seemed a little sparse, And it was pretty gravelly up until getting to the top of the initial part but after that it's absolutely beautiful and there were lots of kinnickinnic berries available for munching. And eventually it leads to the watershed which is absolutely beautiful if you like running water which I do

Great trail to run/hike with not a lot of traffic and good views in spots. Can connect to other trails from too. Not a lot of parking, so be aware of no parking signs in the area.
