Great place to walk your dog, kids playground, a book nook and really close to the libary

Maramao Meow!

Large park, places to picnic facing every direction, and a library in the middle! There are sitting benches scattered about, some in the shade of trees. A few picnic benches. Ample rack would hold a hundred bikes. Free parking around the perimeter of the block. Have not located any useful outside outlets for phone or computer charging, but the free library WIFI reaches out into the park a bit. Sure would like to see a water fountain or a public restroom... Maybe next year. Transfort bus 5 will take you there. For fun, there is a giant-sized chess board and pieces near the front entranceway. Also a couple of musical instruments installed in the courtyard. Library Courtyard seating. The kind security host will dissuade smoking anywhere in the park.

Excellent outdoor spaces, and a piano to boot!! Ample parking and a clean entry lead to a wonderful library that is clean, organized and full of helpful and friendly staff. And it has the best computer lab of any public library that I've used, nicely located away from the kids area.
