Calling the library would be your best bet on finding out what the hours are for all the different activities that are available there. Pulling up the library's website would be equally helpful if you are trying when the library is currently closed.
That area is apart of the Museum of Discovery. I would check on their website.

I believe on weekends, but the art gallery is open weekdays and you could call to be sure.
