Located on the LOBO bike trail is ideal to park for a bike rode or horse ride or hike. Horse trailers are often seen here, where riders can enjoy not paved good trails. There are no restroom facilites, just uncrowed off road parking. LOBO is LOmongt to BOulder trail. Can also access the Niwot trail loop from here.

Small parking area for the LOBO (Longmont to Boulder) Trail. Open sunrise to sunset.

I love this trail. It's well maintained and great people walk it. There's also a great view of the flatirons. In the summer, you can see hot air balloons launching.

Questions & Answers

Where is the playground photographed in a review? We parked at Monarch park trailhead, hiked a mile, found the baseball fields.

Thank you! I did more research and the playground is not even connected to Monarch trail. Nonetheless kids and I enjoyed the hike :)
