A decade or so ago David Buttery and the then Woodland Park City Council faced a fair amount of opposition to a plan to commit city funds to upgrade and beautify this park. Drive by today on any Colorado bluebird day, and take pride and enjoyment in all of the folks enjoying this gorgeous centerpiece of our community. Thanks for your foresight and commitment !

It was a wonderful experience. A local family was having a birthday celebration and very kindly included us with food drinks and a goodie bag. Amazing place and people!

Mostly very clean. Though in the evening I was told by the local police department as they were searching the lake with their flashlights that they were looking for a possible body which confused me as to there was people fishing in it all day I would assume that they would shut the lake down and drain it before they would allow anybody to have a fish caught out of that particular Lake with possible decomposing body inside? I know this is one of the weirdest comments or weirdest reviews I thought it was pretty weird when they told me that.

Gorgeous park with paved walking paths in the middle of town. People are generally great about picking up dog waste or small litter - the park is very well maintained by staff and community. The picnic, community area, and fireplace are frequently used, and the fishing pond is a great afternoon activity. WP has done well!!

Not at the kiddie parks. None of them work most of the year. They're also so filthy, I wouldn't even touch them. Bring your own water
No
The sports complex on evergreen heights drive has some great places to go sledding.
Yes you can, there is even a spot for wheelchair folks to fish also!
I don't think so we've never seen anybody do it there if they do it's at night and we don't go there in the night
I went back to my pictures to check, there are not any grills by any of the picnic tables in my pics. And as everyone is stating the burn ban would not allow use of them at this time if there were any.
It can get cold even in the summer. It came in very handy when there was performers for the farmers marker and it was cold and windy.
There is a swim beach on the south shore. Its roped off, sererate with improved facilities.
No, not specifically.
