Beni's chef was on fire last. This local restaurant serves up great food and even a little entertainment. Our server Natasha answered all our questions and was on always available to fill our glasses. We sat in the bar which on the occaisional Friday and or Saturday a singer or two will grace the make shift stage. Dinner was great. We started with some stiffed mushrooms, wow! The clams casino had the chef own twist to it and was very flavorful. My wife had a salad she couldn't finish and I opted for a chicken cutlet grinder that I couldn't finish. We will go back.

Mixed results from last visit, sat at the bar with hubby and ordered drinks and a couple of appetizers. Veggies spring rolls were both overcooked on the outside and gummy inside so I'm guessing they were cooked from frozen in too high a temp. The onion rings were tasty with a nice spicy sauce. The bartender was testy, when we asked if there any dinner specials all she said was 'not till 5 pm'. It was 4:05 so we might have stuck around had she shared that evening's specials. Maybe she just wanted to hurry up and finish her shift, as she mentioned several times. They do have a delicious liver and onions so we'll just stick to that the next time we are in the mood for it.
