You get tickets from Newark the USS constellation and get access to four vessels. This submarine is from WWII and was used until 1968! It's so old and it's amazing technology for the time. Not accessible. Lots of small walkways and crazy steps and ladders. The vessel is declining with age. Visit and check it before it's gone. It's self guided.

Very nice visit, well-maintained. Excellent surroundings. USS Torsk is one of less than 10 surviving WWII diesel submarines.

This is truly a fascinating visit. You get to go down through the submarine and read plaques about many of the different parts. It's amazing to see what it was like to be on a submarine. There are no recorded messages and no tour guide present when you're down there, but it's well worth the visit. Don't plan to bring a stroller through, because it won't fit through the bulkhead doors.
