A lot nicer than the last time I was here. The hotel feels updated and the staff were friendly. It is only really close to the ballpark and even that is a 5 min walk at a brisk pace. Great view of the bay. The pool area is small and uninteresting but there are nice views from restaurants. Depending on room cost this could be a great place.

A couple shots of and from the place. But this was probably one of the most convenient hotels I’ve ever stayed in. You’re able to walk to and from very easily and they have a bunch of great food and drink options right at the hotel. One weird thing was, water was not free unless you bring an empty water bottle and use one of their refill stations near the bathrooms on the main level but they do not provide water in the rooms. Other than that it’s a great place to stay. The pool was great and all the food we had “on campus” was delicious, especially for a hotel. There is a daily destination fee that they charge but that provides you a $15 credit that can be used at the hotels restaurants and convenience store. It also include a free 1 hour bike or kayak rental from the place a few minutes down the boardwalk. AND a daily free shuttle ride to and from Coronado Beach

This is a LUXURY hotel by every definition, beautiful view, high end restaurants, quality service. But it is not a WORK hotel by any means, don't come here if you are on travel for work. No microwave in your room (its deep in the lobby), no laundry room (they have expensive laundry service), and if you have a package delivered it goes to the on-site UPS store and they charge you $6 for receiving it. Also on big event days, the parking lot is back up to enter. Avoid if you are in town for a long time.

Great place to stay! We had a excellent room with a great view. Very clean, wonderful staff and all around a great hotel. The restaurant that just opened was another story. The food was sub par but the staff there was very friendly and had great customer service.

As long as you make your reservation I had a Time
I never saw that charge before. I know there is a total of 12.5% taxes about per night and parking is $35
Oooh why do you ask?
They charge $35 for 24 hrs, and then hourly thereafter. No time limit. But, we didn't have to pay last weekend by showing the information of your room number and name it's under😉
They are everywhere.
Yes they do. For payment for rooms and for tips. I do think they will press for a card for incidentals, but you can manage an extra cash deposit that can get returned after an inspection. However card is preferred. Debit or bank card also works if you don't have a credit card.
Full buffet has hot items and made to order items and is much bigger. Continental is smaller, not much in the way of hot items.

The Big Bay shuttle will make it more convenient for visitors to San Diego Bay to park their cars once and spend the entire day on the Embarcadero. Rides on the shuttle are included in the cost of parking at the public parking facilities at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, the San Diego Convention Center, and Navy Pier. Pedestrians may ride for $1 per passenger, per day. Shuttles will be clearly marked. The shuttle will also serve the following locations on an average of every 10-15 minutes along the proposed route: check hotel for additional information.
Its $35 per day even if you are staying at the hotel :(
No but very close to the airport a taxi or uber or lyft will not be that expensive
No shuttle. Uber or Lyft is fairly inexpensive, though.
So they have 28 floors and there are tons or rooms on each floor more than 10
I used the Super Shuttle, booked on their app and it was only $20 for two of us.
No
To the best of my knowledge they do
