Getting really tired of them being unreliable. They've already changed their Saturday hours out of nowhere and today, they closed early "due to heat." For one thing, your whole building is air conditioned, literally NOBODY is being affected by the heat. For two, you close at 5. You can't stay open another 45 minutes because of the heat? You do realize this is the point in the day where the temperature only gets cooler, right? And three, the only person who actually got affected by this change was my boyfriend, who is the only person walking. He walked all the way there in the heat only to be told they're closing early. They didn't help anyone. They actually made things worse for him because now he doesn't even get to cool off in the air conditioned building because you guys were too stupid to realize closing 45 minutes early when the temperature has GONE DOWN is a bad idea.

Befor they just paid me most the tim but all in all this is the place you wanna donate ypur white blood cells if your in need of some extra money

I've been coming to the Spokane Valley location for about a year, the wait times are pretty bad. I've come on different days at different times hoping the wait times would be better but they aren't. Normal wait time to get the finger stick and blood pressure check is about an hour then an additional 30+ min to get back to the actual donation part of the process. The donation of course takes usually 45 min. On average I'm there for two and half to three hours. It's a good bit of time out of your day. They seem to be perpetually short staffed, of course who isn't these days. Most of the staff are very nice. However I was appalled by the attitude of the security guard a few times. I have no idea why he's even there besides to tell people to put on a mask. I've never had a negative experience with staff doing the blood check, they have always been nice. The phlebotomists are hit or miss. One in particular is extremely judgmental. I've heard him make comments to several people about their diet. The other phlebotomists are either very good at getting your blood or they aren't. One time I go in they get it immediately and the next time they dig around and it does hurt plus it bruises and you will have to wait for the bruise to go away before donating again. One time they hit a nerve which is extremely painful. I'd say 50% of the time I don't have issues with them getting it on the first try. Is it worth donating? Meh depends, are you in desperate need of cash or just like to donate to help people? Yes it's worth it otherwise I'd find a different place that has better training and more staff.

I have been donating at CSL Plasma for a very long time, over 760 donations to date. They have increased their payout recently. Now I'm getting almost double what I used to. If you have negative blood type, this is the only center with "Anti-D" program where you can make extra money. If you don't know your blood type, they can test it for you. After your donation is finished, your money goes right away on a prepaid card. I've never had a problem with getting paid. I have to give a shout out to Justine! With all my scar tissue on my arms, she still manages to jab me seemingly effortlessly. And a shout out to everyone else who works here. You are all awesome and work super hard and it doesn't go unnoticed. Thank You! And for the people giving bad reviews, I think CSL has a form you can fill out. It's called, " The Little B!tch Complaint Form" there's a stack of these forms next to a box of tissues on the counter.

Yes bring a piece of mail with current address photo I'd and SS card
Yes.
You get a prepaid card. They put the money on it every donation
Yes, it will be added to your total.
Depends on what they are, and what they're for. Call csl directly, push 9 (I think) to talk to a staff member. They are very good about answering questions, and I've never had any issues.
Passport is considered a govt issued ID. Still need SSN.
Between 45 minutes to an hour
Yes...you need to wear a mask and they will examine you like taking your temperature and blood pressure and have you answer some questions about your recent past health history
I am not 100 percent but I don't think that they will allow you to donate given your circumstances
You'll get $50 per donation the first month. You can donate two times a week.
Twice a week with at least a day in between is the most you can donate.
Yes, until 12 or 1pm I believe.
I believe you can. Just called and ask them to be sure.
Yes bring ID SSC proof of address and any personal medical information first time will take up to 3hrs
Calling when there really busy!! Try early in the morning
There is no blood donation at this CSL, only plasma donations. You need photo ID and your social security card, your name must match on both. If the address on your ID is out of date you need proof of address as well, from within 30 days. The money is put on your donation card almost immediately. And it costs nothing to sign up to donate.
Call them and ask what the guidelines are for your specific situation. They are super helpful about answering questions over the phone to save you from wasting a trip in to the facility.
There is a thorough screening process that will determine if your blood is suitable for donation. Physical exam also required during the screening process. They will not draw blood and just throw it away.
But something and get cash back or go to customer service at Fred Meyers and ask to cash out your card. Only free ways I know about.
You have to stick with the same 2 day unless you skip your 2nd donation and start a new cycle
I believe you could go anywhere in the United States to donate plasma you just have to show the proof of address
The social securitu number can be used it must be full social security number on the bank letter head but the letter must ve under 30 days old. You will need to gi back the bank and get another letter.
Very possibly. They have an area you have to live within. As long as you are within that area you can donate, even if it's in another state(for example-you live in CDA but want to donate in Spokane Valley).
Yes. It's on a prepaid debit card. New donors get $50 for the first 5 donations(done within 45 days of the first one). After the first 5 everyone gets $25 on their first of the week and the second of the week is based on weight, $25/$45/$50. The more you weigh the more plasma you can safely donate so the more you get paid(it takes more time the more you donate that's why you get paid more) New donor fees have gone up. $75 on the 1st and 5th donations and $50 on 2,3 and 4
Mon-Fri they are open until 8 and don't lock them until 8. The valley closes at 5 on Saturdays and 7 on Sundays. Monroe is same except Saturdays they close at 7
It's more likely the times of day, and what day you go, that is the culprit. I can often be in and out in under 80 minutes. I go mid morning almost every time, and when that varies, that it seems busier. Like most businesses, they staff to meet higher volume times, and like many businesses, that window of volume isn't always reliable. And machines break. It happens. If you HAVE to go to this one, bring something to watch or read, bring music, and allow enough time in case it does take too long. I use the time to catch up on reading or tv shows. Treat it like a break from life, and it won't feel as long as it can be. I've been coming here for 4 years, and the staff is personable, as fast as can be allowed, and i rarely have a poor visit.
The deposits for pay are on your paycard. They can also tell you that information when you're in a booth.
Yes.
926-1881 I dont remember.I know your still in the system and any time after 6 months you get your first 5 50 dollar donations but make sure you collect them within a month or so. They take it away. Also they changed the heartbeat limit from 90 to 99 which is cool. I posted csl plasmas number for east sprague just incase.
Cal has good people, decent bonuses, and I've been going for 3 years, and I love in cda. Nothing wrong with Csl
