How the heck do you get cash off the card without having to pay a fee? Apparently, choosing debit does not get you cash back. I keep wasting my one free transaction and then can't access the rest of my money.

But something and get cash back or go to customer service at Fred Meyers and ask to cash out your card. Only free ways I know about.

Buy a pack of gum at Fred Meyer or Winco as a debit transaction, choose cash back.

Most grocery stores except Wal-Mart give you a "cash back" option for free, Dollar trees only charge 1 dollar fee which isn't too bad

There are many cash machines that allow you to get money for free. For example the 7/11 on Park Rd in the valley will let you take money out for free.

Fred Meyers was a no go. I guess there is no way to get cash. I can spend the whole thing in the store, but never get cash back. So damn frustrating!
