Why the hell is it always 2-3 hours at this location and 5-10 machines never in operation or enough staff working?

It's more likely the times of day, and what day you go, that is the culprit. I can often be in and out in under 80 minutes. I go mid morning almost every time, and when that varies, that it seems busier. Like most businesses, they staff to meet higher volume times, and like many businesses, that window of volume isn't always reliable. And machines break. It happens. If you HAVE to go to this one, bring something to watch or read, bring music, and allow enough time in case it does take too long. I use the time to catch up on reading or tv shows. Treat it like a break from life, and it won't feel as long as it can be. I've been coming here for 4 years, and the staff is personable, as fast as can be allowed, and i rarely have a poor visit.

Because management wants to always have a line of donors waiting. As soon as there is no line, they start sending staff home.
