I give this place a 5 star rating because it has wonderful staff and they take good care of the place. Some things unfortunately are not in the best of shape due to teenagers destroying property a few years ago and they have not been able to get it back into the shape that it was in before. Also, the swim area has a lot of moss in it even tho it has been tested and approved by the state to swim in. We enjoyed our stay and the kids loved it! A great family getaway!

We just moved to Illinois about 6 years ago and happened to be lucky enough to find Crazy Horse! We simply LOVE this campground! The small cabins are great for last minute camping plans especially if you don't own a tent or are not sure if the weather will cooperate during your stay. They always have neat activities for the kids on the weekends to keep them busy. The nightlife is action packed when they have bands on weekend nights... Yet it is a nice quiet campground that is perfect for families. The swimming pond is warm and clear with a sand beach and volleyball court. Also fishing is a must! So many activities I can't mention them all! The price is affordable. It's clean! The owners are super friendly. We spend summer days there during the week just hanging out in the sun! Our families favorite place in the area!

We do and its free, no time restrictions. However, it is shared for the whole campground so it's sometimes overloaded and pretty slow.
Cabin for 2 person is 50 a night the 4 person is 70

Yes, full hookups. Yes, swimming in the pond. Second pond for canoeing. Fishing on both. Great owners! I can't quote prices but they are reasonable.
Dogs are allowed in the 2nd pond where the canoes are located. They cannot be in the swimming beach area due to water testing. Thanks!
They are sleeping only cabins. They have beds, air conditioning and electricity inside. There are pictures on our facebook page.
