I was nervous to stay here based on some previous reviews, but we enjoyed our time there. If you are looking for a fancy campground, this is not for you. We stayed at one of the river campsites. Porta-potties were close by, and cleaner than I thought they’d be. Well stocked with toilet paper, soap. Has a sink with foot pump for water. If you want a shower, they are a little bit of a walk from the river site, but relatively clean. The river sites are a little close to each other, so not a ton of privacy, but we were with friends who booked the other sites, so we didn’t mind. The sites are a little expensive I think. Campsite is a 5 minute drive from Dingmans Falls. We would probably stay again.

I can understand both sides of the alcohol debate and drinking at this campsite. On the one hand you have the campers who would like to spend the weekend drinking to some extent or another. And then you have the campground managers who don't want to deal with a bunch of drunks. That aside, I have not stayed at this Campsite in a very very long time but I will tell you that it's outrageous that they're charging nearly $50 a night for a campsite. Absolutely outrageous. You're almost better off just hiking into the mountains in Pike County and making your own campsite for crying out loud.

Left early. We stayed "along the river." The water near our campsite was a standing pool. It is a breeding ground for mosquitos, chiggers and all sorts of other insects. They were literally all over us. I've never seen anything like it. It smelled like sewage at our campsite. The limited staff that works there is so very friendly but the actual campground was the worst we've been to. 1 of the 2 bath houses was closed. The one open was not serviced often. I left toilet paper in there for others. Huge potholes on the road. But the worst complaint goes back to the bugs. We were so happy to leave a day early.

Pine spots there are some near the river. Miss leading however when they say you can drive-in because you can only drive next to the site and then you have to camp on the site with a tent or something. Felt cheated because I have a driving camper and they wouldn’t refund my extra money I paid for the “view”They pulled the You already signed the papers, Routine. Generally were rude about it. Sites have a picnic table and camp ring.It might be a little hard to get to a lot of them because the roads are pretty poor condition for a bigger rig with narrow ways. Shower house was fairly new but not terribly clean.

As of 7/10/18, a riverside tent site is $52/night, a forest tent site is $40/night, a forest RV site with water & 20 amp is $42/night, and a forest RV site with water & 30 amp is $44/night. Those rates are for up to 4 people. Additional people at a riverside site are $11/adult and $9/child (under 12). Additional people at the rest of the sites are $9/adult and $7/child (under 12). Group tent sites (minimum 20 people) are $160/night for the first 20 people. Additional people are $10/person (up to 40 people maximum). Further details can be found on their website. I hope that helps!
Should be open May 1st, if not, memorial day weekend. And yes, it is a Seasonal campground, thus the reason why no one answered.
