My dreams came true when I was able to check out the hello kitty cafe. One thing you have to try is their donuts. It was so crispy and sooo good. Definitely a great experience :)

This was our 1st time at the Hello Kitty Cafe. The line wasnt bad at all. The birthday and chocolate cakes were good. The cinnamon and cookies & creme donuts were much better though! We bought some of the mugs too, couldn't resist all the cuteness!!

Originally, this location was was a pop-up store, but now it's a permanent fixture at the Irvine Spectrum. Niche store with a Sanrio, or Hello Kitty theme. They make their items for their fairly limited menu on site. My daughter enjoyed the strawberry shake. There's a Bow Room, which I presume is for "High Tea", and a massive lobby area that seems to be wasted space. There's a large statue of the Hello Kitty character in the shop.

Such a cute birthday date! I came with my partner and we got reservations a few weeks earlier. Good: Everything is so cute and well decorated! I loved how we got hello kittty tea cups and desserts. It’s a ton of food too so it is very worth the price tag. I thought the little croissant sandwiches were great and the scones were tasty too. Bad: It’s too many sweets so be prepared to come with an empty stomach. Overall would come again with friends! It’s a fun speakeasy hidden behind the regular cafe.

For some reason, the official website nor the Irvine spectrum website seems to have a confirmed number. I did find this though, from the official site: "Modifications or cancellations can be made through the confirmation email from Yelp. There is no charge for cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation time, but a $25 per person charge will be applied for late cancellations and no-shows. (e.g. For a party of 4 the cancellation fee would be $100)".
It's been open for a while. If your talking about the bow room that you reserve? That part of HJC is still closed.
We went for the cocktail drinks. They were pretty expensive ($18-23) but were very good. The experience was well worth it too. Phone service was good too. Employees there were very cool too.
Unfortunately, there are no gift cards.
Yes, only five person at a time is allow within the cafe.
Yes. You need to if you want to have afternoon tea. I believe it's offered Friday thru Sunday.
If they allow pets at the spectrum yes its an outdoor service only right now
It's for the tea service with treats.

You can visit the cafe anytime but the bar scene is 21+ because they serve alcohol
No for now. Its like bakery that sells small treats and some drinks. There is an adult lounge in the back.
No Cash..I guess because of the Pandemic.
Yes, coffee and sweets ,
It took two seconds when I went . Looks like the tea is pre-made
I don’t remember seeing ice cream in the menu when we were there last month
The Bow Room requires reservations for full Tea service and cocktails service. Times are hard to come by for full Tea service. I made my reservation 1 1/2 months ahead of time.
Irvine CA.
There's usually a line to order and they have 2 seats outside for people to sit. You don't have to reserve but I'd get there early because they do run out of things.
Yeah you need to make reservations
Sorry the items at the cafe can only be ordered there. The HK online. The truck drives around the US all year long. I hope this helps.
