Great car show, demolition derby and tractor pull. Also lots of food. Small flea market. And some good ole bluegrass music by the Dave Adkins band featuring Bobby Davis

Nice little campground for an overnight stop. Peaceful, but with some road noise. $15 for water & 20amp a night, $8 for dry camping. Grass lots scattered throughout the park. Shelter houses and a real nice children's playground.

Attended a family reunion/June Family Birthday Party this past weekend (first Saturday in June.) Very nice large shelter, with plenty of large picnic tables, very well cared for concrete slab for them to rest on, and large, clean ladies restroom for public use. Only shower curtains to block view into each stall, which may become problematic in windy weather, but it wasn't windy that day, so all was well in that respect. What we saw of the grounds was clean and tidy. The large children's playground was AWESOME though! Very well done, seems well maintained, with plenty of things on which the kiddos could expend some of their naturally inexhaustible supply of energy! Plus plenty of clean, grassy areas on which they could just play and run. We didnt get to see much of the rest of the grounds, as we had the first shelter coming in from the entrance, and didn't explore much farther when leaving, since we had driven well over 2 hours to get there, and had the same distance to drive home, and we were already getting a bit tired. But, we've been there many times over the prior 40 years, with and without extended family on my in-laws side, who used to live nearby, and mostly attending the Earl Park Festival for Labor Day Weekend, at which we always had a great time. I could tell that improvements have been made over the years, and want to commend them on such wonderful continued maintenance and improvements.

There is a box located on the side of the Festival Camping sign. It's on the honor system.
Call PHILL McGinnis, hope that helps
