I really loved it here. We got one of the campsites out of the main campground and it could not have been better. We were able to get down to the water to do some canoeing and fishing. There was so much to do here

The beach gets super busy on a nice day and motorboats will pull right up onto the beach a foot away from where you're setup. It was quiet at night which was nice, seems like a family oriented place. Drive slow or I will yell at you, there's no reason to go ripping down a road in your pickup truck where kids are playing and riding their bikes. You're 1.5hr away from the nearest hospital, so try to plan on not needing medical assistance... Found that out the hard way.

$20/night but sites by the water book fast. This campground is great, pretty and very clean facilities.
The is both Burke's and Bird's marine near Golden beach. Rented from Burke's many times.
It's $20 a night if you're a new York state resident and $25 a night if you're not. Check the state park site for available dates and make a reservation
Generator use is 9 am to 11 am and 4 pm to 7 pm. You can hook to a spigot long enough to fill your fresh water tank. That's if you are close enough.
Station's along the road
No cell service. If you head into town and go to the general store or library you will be able to get WiFi.
Some do do you should reserve in advance to know for sure. Bring all survival items becsuse of remote area.
