If you have to fine, otherwise don't bother. If you're used to any type of hospitality don't come here. It's expensive for no reason based on service and room size. It took the FOUR HOURS to deliver bottles of water to my room! I called down three times and the 3rd person had no idea about my request. The restaurant is very basic and over priced for what you get. Food was terrible. I'll never return here. Staying in The City from now on when I visit. Trash. Nice views of the shut down and boarded up OPD.

I hadn't been to Oakland in at least 20yrs and so much has changed! Some for the good and, as everywhere else, the not so good, but this hotel is very nice. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and personable. The rooms are nicely appointed, but I did have an issue day 1 with a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. It dissipated shortly after being there a couple of hours and it was fine the rest of my stay. I noticed the same smell in a couple of spots throughout the City so it wasn't their fault.. The bed was super comfortable so I got plenty of good sleep on this trip and I loved it! Housekeeping answered my request quickly and accurately and Safety was High in priority here with mask on hand to hand out, sanitizer, and the redirection of anyone not behaving Respectfully. I was really pleased with my stay. They have Ballrooms, Fitness, and a really nice Restaurant on site as well. If you are ever in Oakland, California it is a great place to stay!

Came to the Marriott for a special occasion. Attended our cousin's fifty birthday celebration. The catered food was elegant and delicious. Overall set up the look the photographer family and friends had an extraordinary experience and fun. I would recommend the Marriott to anyone whether it be for entertainment or business.

Have stayed here several times and am always impressed with the modern rooms and great staff. Ended up accidentally checking in super early this time but the staff got me into a room immediately when most hotels would not have. Great views as well!

Marriott self park is $40, valet is $45. Convention Center is $35 for self park. Valet is through the Marriott, so same price. Not sure if City Center offers overnight parking, but their all day rate is $40
