An awesome environment, full of games, great food, and memorable experiences. The management team is very professional. All of the workers make it a really cool place to hang out. It's very kid friendly and there's a great bar with really nice servers. It's the kind of place you want to keep coming back to.

Took my sons and nephews to Main Event on Spring Break. Decent price on Laser Tag $8.50 per person. Not sure why they charge $2 for activation fee on arcade game cards. Could use help in Winners Choice to keep things flowing. Saw employees cleaning up,wiping down tables and checking/maintenance games. Would have liked to seen covid procedures for games such as wiping down occasionally. Overall, had a nice Afternoon and was able to get in and out.

Drinks were good. Games were good. When understanding the credit system a lot of the games are like 7.5 credits to play. You get a game card from a machine unless you order a meal that includes a game card with it. Some of those deals are crazy good. Like a $33 entree but u get a $30 game card making the food $3. That is a good deal. My girl wanted to stop here on our 3.5 hour trip home from ocmd for her birthday. It was a good decision.

This M E is just that a great place for family, friends and coworkers.. COVID is real but they are Better here. Happy to have come to bring the kids for an amazing afternoon out.. Yes yes it was the truth..

Cool beans.
After a great time with my kids it would be nice to just be an adult and not have to deal with the drama of people's disrespectful children or chasing your own it's a place of business but every club in DE has been shut down with the 18 to enter 2q to drink maybe they should designate an adult night but children don't need all the 1am fun that's ridiculous
It's going to depend on what you want to do. There is no "entrance fee" but obviously to bowl you'll have to pay for a lane and shoes, for the games you'll have to buy a card. There are wristbands you can get to do activities (laser tag, bowling, high ropes, etc.) and than you could purchase a game card
Does anyone know if they have a pass that allows my child to do all events in the building. If so how much?
Phone has 3 lines and they dont stop ringing from 9am till 12 am. They didnt expect that big of a volume
Hello Teresa. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We’re happy to hear that you and your grandkids had a great time with us! It is always great to know our guests are satisfied with the service they receive as well as the experience. We’ll make sure to have your feedback sent to our Newark location so that Jeremy can receive the recognition he deserves for the service provided to you and feel encouraged by such kind words. We look forward to seeing you guys again soon!
Yes
It's less likely since theres not a lot of space.
You should be able to get in because 5 of y'all over 21.
Hello m.a.carrasquillo! The prices for laser tag varies on the days of the week you would want to go. Monday-Thursday it's $22.00 from open-5PM then $29.00 from 5PM-close, Friday it's $22.00 from open-5PM and then $36.00 from 5PM to close, Saturday it's $36.00 all day, and Sunday it's $36.00 from open-5PM and then $29.00 from 5PM-close. Please keep in mind the prices are per hour and up to 5 people per lane.
Juan, if you bowl for ONE hour, it will cost 2 adults and 2 kids approximately $42 bucks. ($50 on weekends). Video games are a bit different...I suggest Monday Madness $10.95 per person ($44 for 4 people) all you can play. 😁👍 Laser tag, rope climbing, and other stuff is a bit more but they have specials to help lower costs. Check the website out https://www.mainevent.com/location/delaware/newark/19702?utm_source=googlemb&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=newark&utm_term=website The website is not easy to navigate but you can work your way through. Hope this helps, Mr. Eyeball
Sabastian, the Main Event near Christiania Mall and right next to a big gym is Definitely open.
Actually I do not know why when I'm gone I go to the game aria for the young and for the pool ... If you do not call and ask they give you information 👍
Due to how packed it gets, I'd recommend the day you want to go, get there the moment they open to "reserve" lanes and pay, bc otherwise you not bowling LOL
They are a brand new place probably busy!
Yes but some days have different times
Hello! Each game is different when it comes to pricing so we're not able to provide you a total, but you have control as to how much you'd like to spend by funding your play card! We also have specials that certainly helps when trying to see what works best for you! Please click on the following link to view our current specials - https://www.mainevent.com/specials/
I guess cause it's late and adults be there enjoying there self I take it
You can walk in but sometimes its along wait since people book ahead of time too
1am - holiday hours
Yes!
Four Points by Sheraton Newark Christiana Wilmington is super close!!
I believe the show big fights. Not sure it there is a cover charge.
Depends where you are. But the music ain't too quiet. Especially by the bar
Never
You would have to call and ask them that question!!!!!
Fun for all
They have games just like dave and busters but also bowling, laser tag, pool tables, in an obstacle course
Yes they do! I believe they're running a holiday special on gift cards, buy $50, get $20 arcade play free I think!
I believe so
There is bowling there and they have some video / arcade games that I'm sure a four-year-old could do
Arcade is as you play...... $18.95 Summer all day pass
Not worth the money unless you go on a Monday. Otherwise it's overpriced and very congested with the amount of people and limited space
I don't know the answer to that question.
Only if you use a time machine to go back several decades.
15 minute sessions. We had a group of 20 and they still had others join to fill the room. Only paid for our initial package but didnt have to pay anymore afterwards. Bought the championship package so we had every option.
You would need to contact them to find that out. I don't work there.
Dim?
Poor management?
The have been open for like two weeks....they are swamped
We went mid-morning. There was just as many adults as there was children. They do serve alcohol, so I would probably go later in the day if you want less number of children.
Since the DE location has just opened all the online reservation info has not been fully loaded. They said to give it a few weeks before that would catch up.
You dont want to do a party here. They dont know what there doing yet and until they get into the groove of things it's not going to end well
I have to pitch in. The previous answers are wrong. It is not 18.85$ on Saturday. Saturday is more expensive for the unlimited pass. You still get bowling, pool, laser tag, and the gravity ropes. But it's 24, 25 $ or something.
No waivers yet
A word. After about 2 minutes I asked one of the three girls gossiping & not working that worked there if they were going to wait on me and they said the register was closed... so people behind me were being waited on after I was in line an hour? So I had to jump back in line in front of someone who was waiting at least an hour. I got there at 3. Ate food until the 4 pm promo. Got in line at 4. Finally got waited on a little after 5. This was yesterday, a Monday. When I left at 10 pm, the line was still to the door. Very busy. However no excuse when there are plenty of staff members. Literally standing in groups just talking right behind the counter. At least 9 employees. Doesn’t take 9 people to grab bowling shoes... 3 registers. 2 open. Manager should learn to manage. Not good under pressure.
No wait to get in unless it is late Friday or Saturday. You can get on the wait list for whatever activity your trying to do. Like bowling. And be preoccupied with something else. Nights it's like 30 minutes. And busy times it's an hour.
They open 365. Buts phones sooo busy. I dont judge them since it is new to DE and hundreds calling same time
There are various prices for different activities. Google main event de for their website.
Give the place some time. I'm pretty sure thay after a while, service will proceed normally, unlike this opening week.
They have an unlimited activities for $18.95 promo right now but it's only worth it if over 48" tall... games not included
I'm sorry to heat that. We will resolve it soon. Was that for online bowling?
11 to 12 weekdays. Weekends 1:30pm clowing open 10
21+ after 9pm
That's What I Want To Know Too
