My Husband and I rented a room for two nights for our Daughter and her family. When they arrived, the room smelled terrible! All three kids plugged their noses! The pool was filthy and the restaurant was closed (which they neglected to tell us at booking). The smell was so bad that They left after only one night. My Husband called to talk to the manager about the whole experience and try to get a one night refund. She was so rude to him and didn’t want to hear any of it! This has always been our go to place to stay at the beach but we will NEVER go back. :-(

The view was spectacular, it was so beautiful. My brother in law, my husband, my nephew and his friend and myself all stayed here. The boys had their own room and we shared the other one, it was good size ( with 2 beds). The room was cleaned ok, except for one pillow ( which had a blood spot on it) there is no air conditioning, the TV in our room was fine with many channels ( not that very much was on) but we were enjoying the weather outside and went into town to enjoy it and walked the beach. My nephew's room was ok but the TV only had a few channels. The pool is outside so it was chilly outside, the pool was very cloudy and nasty looking so we didn't go in. The restaurant/lounge wasn't open but we understood coming back from COVID-19. We brought our own food and cooler. The room could have been cleaner but they were trying, looked like a lot of young kids were working there and they were trying their best. The only complaint I really had was someone let their little child slam the bedroom doors and run up and down the hall. Would give it another shot just because the view was amazing.

Read the fine print. $250 no pet fine. Only half of the hotel. When they advertise pet friendly online. 2 pages small print. I had 3 guests behind me was trying to be polite and signed. The manager is super rude. Didn't even offer to switch rooms

I found this resort with a fast hotel search and found the Alsi resort. And i could not be more happy with the service I received from Judith at the service desk and the night staff that I had to pull out of bed to check me in. Very friendly helpful and polite. For customer service the resort could NOT of picked better. Now the room it was very well priced for a holiday weekend on the beach with a spa in the room very clean and comfortable. The only downside was the cable was out in the room and tv would of been nice but I had my cell and got some much needed rest after the spa tub. If you find yourself needing a night of relaxation and near the waldport or Newport area make sure to book a night in a room with a spa. Thanks again Judith and the Alsi resort for a perfect stay.
