Just Came from a driving school to work with this company. all people especially dispatch and safety director are very professional. I wanted to say thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to work The only reason I decide to leave today is I can’t find the right partner(because I am weird person) I will be back when I find a right partner one day.

Doesn't come across as a very good outfit to drve for.... as I watch a driver throwing a temper tantrum at the checkout window,,very embarrasseing all of us truckers drivers out here,, sad site to watch.. obviously poor dispatching.. I do remember them company driving days..

We came to this company two years ago because we noticed how well they took care of the trucks and trailers. We figured if they took care of their equipment, it would be a good place to work. Well, I can honestly say, we’re not disappointed! The pay is competitive, the trucks and trailers are top notch, dispatch is polite, and maintenance is done after every trip. They have all the standard benefits plus vacation pay based on the number of trips you make. You can run as hard as you can or just round trip, then off for the weekend, it’s up to you. We love this company!

Yes they are short of drivers.
And yes mountain river is always hiring. you have to call them to see what kind of pay they have

No they don't. I've been here 10plus yrs. You have to live within 200miles of the yard in Mt Airy. Sorry. But its a great company to work for if you ever consider moving to North Carolina or Virginia.

No they don't have a training class. I work there and they are really good company to work for
Mountain river does teams running dry van to the west or north west or south west and bring refrigerated produce back east. Most of the time youll bring the load back to the yard then that day or the following day the local drivers will deliver it to its destonations.
Tried surrounding trucking companies. You would do well to choose mountain river. Wife and I been there 5 years. Dispatchers are grown up. They don't play the games others play. You can always reach one of them on the phone 24/7.
