It takes a special kind of person to send a billboard truck to a family owned and operated business to try and solicit employees after over 20 years of hard work my dad and uncle put In for myself and my family. It’s ridiculous to sit outside of our business during break time trying to recruit employees. This man even had the nerve to get out and take pictures of the billboard in front of our shop.

Safety is a core value at O'Neal If you were just sent home for the day for a near miss, it's most likely a safety precaution. You were almost injured or you almost injured someone else. If the near miss was your fault, say...you were tired and worn out and not thinking clearly, then if you remain at work, that opportunity for another near miss, or even worse, an injury, is still there. So they might send you home to give you time to reset your state of mind, get some sleep, deal with whatever might be frustrating you, and then come back the next day with a safer mindset. Similar thing goes with if the near miss wasn't your fault, but you were the one almost injured. That could rattle your nerves and distract your mind for the rest of the shift.
