My son is trying to get his money to survive but your major incompetence is unbelievable. You either don't know what you are doing, or just don't care. I guess since you are collecting a paycheck nothing else matters! What a terribly run organization. How disheartening for people in need.

I believe so. I think that even if you're remarried, your ex-wife will still receive to a portion.

There are no in service withdrawal from the Individual Account Plan (IAP). It's not like a 401k and the IAP is solely employer funded. You must have a 2 year break in service from the industry or retire from the plan in order to withdraw or rollover your IAP balance.
My ex-husband worked as an electrician at several studios but hasn't worked in the industry for many years. He had a stroke a couple of days ago. How can I determine if he has any benefits?

Hi Beverly, first call MPI and speak and ask to speak with one of the counselors. They can discuss anything with health, after ask to speak with someone in pension to see if he's vested and entitled to a pension benefit

Yes, if you have retired after August 1 2009. This year due to the late ratification the payment will happen on November 2 and depending on your bank and its processing time it may be available by November 5th.
