Yes, you can get your sticker at the Transfer Station. You'll need to pay by check, $25 for the sticker, plus whatever additional cost there might be for disposing of your item. They will verify your address is in Milford from your car registration (or if you have recently moved, bring something else to verify your addresss). The sticker will be good for up to one year, ending June 30 (new stickers are required on July 1, or whenever you first need to go to the transfer station after that). The disposal fees will vary based on what you are dropping off, for instance, the last thing I dropped off was an old propane grill, the disposal fee for that was $25. Disposal fees also need to be paid for by check. For your first visit, be sure to bring two checks, since the sticker fee will be paid separately from the item fee.
