Autumn “Madejyalook” Sundt
I try to camp here every year. It's very peaceful as the campsites are a decent distance from each other with enough plant life in between them. Restrooms are available and have always been nice.

We departed from the gravel Reservation Road lot. It's small and shady with few other cars, even on the weekend! The ridge climb was steep and engaging and quickly afforded views of the surrounding elevation. There were some biting flies but the wildlife was lovely. I witnessed many blue herons, frogs, turtles and fine craftsmanship by the beavers!!

Entrance fee isn’t unreasonable happy to support a place like this! Super beautiful beaver dams, lily ponds, tons of options, bathroom are what you’d expect not terrible, friendly staff at the store. It was our first visit we took the south mountain trail to the fire tower with a pretty nice view, they have a humming bird feeder at the top, what a treat! Didn’t think my hike would land me getting yelled at by humming birds, cute! Incredibly clean paths, will be back. very buggy, you gotta bring bug spray or you’re going to be miserable. BRING BUG SPRAY.

Beautiful lake, campsites are on the large side with a lot of trees. Campsite never got muddy no matter how much it rained the first couple days. Bathrooms need updating but they are redoing one of them that will reopen in July.

Yes there are tent sites. Go to NewHampshireStateParks.com to check availability of sites and location.
I would like to think so.
No
Cabins are $65 a night have 2 bunk beds and a futon There's not a deadline to book them it's based on availability and you have to book it on reserveamerica.com
$65/night $360/week
Go to reserveamerica.com and try to book, they have dates on the site. I am camping up north sept 11
I saw some small boats, pontoon boats, and some jet ski's throughout my visit.
By "sites" do you mean campsites or points of interest? At any rate, there's both. If you put into the Fundy Rd boat launch it's a nice long paddle to some waterfront campsites. You also go by islands and coves. You can also put into the same lake from the main beach for a shorter paddle to some sites. There is also kayaking available in the (albeit small) Round Pond with some neat rock features and a rope swing. Hope this helps.
Hello I would suggest to visit NH state park website to get up to date information.
Yes, certainly parts.
$6 and its only like 5 pieces, you're better off buying outside the park. There's a house before the park that sells bundles of wood for $5. It's really good wood. We camp here every week and always get our wood there. There's another place a little further up the road but it's not bundles, it's 20 for a wheelbarrow full which is ok if you need that much wood and don't care if you put loose wood in your vehicle but the wood isn't covered so you might get wet wood if it's been raining which is why we don't buy it there anymore
We were there Friday and water levels were fine. You need to reserve a day pass online to get into the park but do not have to make reservations for kayaks. They are not taking cash at this time
Its usually an overnight thing thats why it's a campground but if you call them you'll be able to find out definitely
Yes
It's state park. I don't think so
There is a small convienent store within walking distance of the beach. They sell the typical ice cream, goggles, novelties, candies, snacks and some kiddie blow ups (such as arm floaties and maybe a tube.) I however do not remember seeing a pump or air compressor. As another person mentioned we just brought our own stuff either blown up or brought a hand pump with us. They do have kayaks and items to rent while there per hour but WILL need a driver's license/ID to leave with the shack. Just to be forewarned. Very awesome place! Hope you enjoy it as much as my family and I do!♡
Good so far. Was there last weekend.
Free, hot showers. Sept 2018
You can go for the day. Yes, there are areas for fishing. There's a charge of $5.00 per person. It can be loud and crowded.
Open, yes. It'll be a search to find a spot for camping at this point. Good luck!
All I get a busy tone been trying since 9
It is a risky move especially during holiday weekends. People book way ahead. Maybe try to get a pre paid credit/debit card and do it that way so you have a sure thing when you go. It is a great campsite! We go every year and always have a great time. Go with the pre paid card or call the day before. Good luck!
Best fireworks are in Portsmouth on July 3. That's a bit of a drive from pawtuckaway but it is quite a show.
I think they do but I would call and ask them. I always cook on the fire pit.
Go to the NH parks for prices . you can even go to PAWTUCKAWAY website for rates and Campground Maps . Unfortunately PAWTUCKAWAY Does not allow pets . we would go there more often if we could bring our dog .. If your tenting i suggest HORSE ISLAND . Big island is up in the woods with no water front sites . GOOD LUCK
You can usually call and find out. They have staff working at the entrance of the park and at the campsite store. Give em' a call.
That is correct, 5/1 was opening day, beach is open 8 am to 7 pm :)
I would also say no to ATV.
No, there is no winter accommodation, the park opens for the season in May.
Thank you I have a home that I reside in however I went to see my boyfriend at your park which was beautiful but he has a tendency of lying...a lot & he told me he had to change sites when I got there because he had been there for 2 weeks. My translation of that was that he was hiding us from someone.
I agree with others, i would call or check the website
Back of the park off reservation rd in Deerfield is free...trails at parking
We brought our dog camping at patuckaway Columbus day weekend. Dogs are not allowed at the beach area at any time. They are allowed in the park in the off season Columbus day weekend to memorial day weekend.
I think Neal's Cove works well for little kids -- the store, beach, and playground are all close by for everyone to walk to together which means less stress as the parent.
