Nice short loop and a longer loop. Map available at trail head and good historical marker / why paths were there. Watch wet leaves if you don't walk in woods often.

Great short walk is about 1.5 miles. A lot rocks on the trails. Small parking. Best access is on 98-72 Grove St, Franklin, MA 02038, USA

Park near the YMCA by the water tower parking area
It's free to enter. If not counting the fee for the OHV registration stickers
I don't think so the trails are primarily used for hiking and there aren't any good places to set up.
You can park at the grove st. entrance and start there. The first part is uphill.
A MA registration is only $44 for 2 years
Yes. They start by the parking lot by the water tower on Forge Hill Rd (yellow blaze trails). The trails on the other side of the powerlines on Grove St are for non-motorized use only
