Got a new to me car and living in Florida you HAVE to get your windows tinted for the summer months. Asked around as to where to go and heard good things about Window-Kote. Checked them out, got a good price, very professional and quick service. If i get another car in need of tinting I will definitely go back. Window-Kote gets my vote.

I used this business at the recommendation of a high end dealership in the past. The service was great and the job they did tinting my vehicle was great. Went back today for a quote. Window tint and vehicle wrap around the front end of my new-to-me BMW M550i. From the second I walked in, the gentleman at the front desk behaved as though I was a swarm of mosquitoes. He was trying to get rid of me. Every other word from his mouth was “No”. He told me my car was already tinted. It was factory. I told him that. We debated for a bit. Then I tried to explain I wanted the front windshield treated for UV protection. He proceeded to talk over me while he turned his back and walked away. I told him it was MY CAR and I knew what it was equipped with and what I wanted. His reply was essentially “No!” When I asked about vehicle wrapping, he pointed towards the side of the business, and said go talk to the guy upstairs. Then he returned to his desk. Leaving me standing outside, stunned & frustrated. I had just come from another Vehicle Tint & Wrap establishment. They took the time to look at my vehicle, show me the options available to me, and give me a detailed, professional quote. A short while after I left I called back and asked to speak to the owner. The same gentleman who brushed me off previously, was very short, and brushed me off again. He said the manager wasn’t available. They lost approximately $2000.00 of business I was prepared to spend. I was prepared to pay a large sum of hard earned money to protect and enhance my high end vehicle. They also lost all credibility with this consumer. I’m a retired Law Enforcement Officer. I deal with everyone respectfully, and in a calm manner. I observe and try to make a fair, and objective assessment of everyone I deal with. From the second I walked into Window Kote in St Pete, the gentleman at the desk behaved as if I was a nuisance that he could not get rid of quick enough. Maybe they don’t need the business.
