This rating is for the phlebotomist that helped me out today August 10th 2022. I originally had an appointment at the Pasadena location at 9:00 am while in the parking lot the quest Pasadena location text me that they canceled my appointment. Now the tests I required me to fast since 7 am the night before…. I immediately called quest and they were apologetic and scheduled me at the location on 34th st. I arrived, checked in, waiting about 40 mins and then was called for my blood work. At this point I was tired, hungry weak from not eating and annoyed that I had to wait so long. Then I was called. The gentleman immediately listened to my grievances and was so apologetic and kind. He understood I was inconvenienced and so very professional. He was efficient in drawing the blood, the area was spotless and clean. He completely turned my day around. I understand in this line of work you deal with lots of people navigating medical facilities, but let me tell you this individual is an asset and I wanted to write this and say thank you. I am sorry I did not get his name, but I sure you can tell by the records. Please reach out to him and say thank you as a corporation.

They make you use a defective machine to check in and the card scanners have issues reading the cards. You can’t get someone to help you in a timely manner so you have to wait for a prolonged period even with your appointment. I had to help someone to get seen today and the technicians are largely inaccessible - there are a few that are nice but some are very mean and apathetic.

This place is clean & it's the only Quest I would go. The wait isn't much when you don't have an appt. It's about the only place where they are able to draw my blood on1st try. The majority of the staff are very patient. Never had to wait more than 1hour w/out appt. Thank u Quest for your kindness, care & profesionalism. My gratitude to the staff & their demeanor towards the patients. We need more services like this. Keep up the good work.

Staff was not friendly at all. I had basically make my own conversation while she had a needle in my arm. Had me hold a fist while drawing the blood which in result left me a huge bruise. I got my blood drawn 5-6 days ago and they still haven’t sent my lab work to my specialist so my appointment I have been waiting for was canceled. Now I have to wait back in line. Not sure why It makes people so upset that they have to draw blood. They chose that job. Not me.

Yes.
You can walk in or get an appointment throughout 24 hours phone or web site. I recommend getting an appoiment or you will have to wait more.
You can walk in but make sure you are waiting in line before they open at 7am
Same this morning. Phlebotomist actually told me she doesn't feel good. 🤷
Call...use the automated system
They are not open Sundays.. their system is messed up
If it was sent electronically they can. If it was faxed they can not access the order at another location.
As far as I know they take most major insurance, but some tests aren't covered initially. However, you can ask your physician to recode and sometimes that works. I have to get bloodwork at least once a month due to cancer and everyone, every time has been awesome to me and efficient and service is quick if you make am appointment.
Yes
Yes for blood sugar
Fasting is nothing but water for 10-12 hours typically. Some practitioners may have different instructions. A few may allow certain exceptions but talk to the practioner that gave you your script.
