I love this store and am so thankful that I live close to it. I am in here at least once a week. The service is fantastic. If you need a grill, they will assemble and deliver. They also deliver a variety of items for a modest fee - no need to put a bag of cement in the trunk of your car, for example. I always come here first, and go to the big box stores as a last resort.

I needed mirror tabs and they didn't have any more in stock, the sales person (Sal) was so very nice he ordered them for me...They were at the store waiting for me in two days! What a nice guy! I've been to this hardware three times within two weeks...everytime I visited this store...everyone is so polite, helpful, professional and thoughtful! I love this hardware store. I've shopped at Durfee's Hardware since 1976 and it has always been a pleasant experience! This is by far the best hardware store around. They have absolutely everything. It is family owned and operated for many many years. There is always someone on hand to help you whether its to find something or give advice on how to fix something. I love this place and I love the people here. I can not praise them enough.

Nice that there is still an old fashioned hardware store in town that fixes windows, makes keys, etc. Easy to find what you need, not too big. Has a lot of items available for DIY home repairs. I hope it's around for many more years.
